Dr. Vincent Savolainen is professor of organismic biology (Department of Life Sciences) at Imperial College London. Prior to joining Imperial College, Vincent was deputy head of molecular systems at the Royal Botanical Gardnes, Kew. He is a fellow of the Zoological Society of London, the Linnean Society of London, and the Royal Society of Biology.


Vincent's research combines field ecology, molecular phylogenetics, and population genomics. Recently, Vincent also researches sexual orientation in primate species.
